Akeredolu lived a selfless – Ondo Assembly

The Speaker,Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji, has described the former Governor of the state, late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, as a courageous,true democrat and selfless leader who devoted his entire life for humanity and development.

Oladiji, expressed this today when he led members of the House of Assembly on a condolence visit to the residence of the former governor in Ibadan,the Oyo State capital on Saturday.

In a statement by the the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Chief Olatunji Oshati,the speaker and the lawmakers commiserated with the family of the late governor , saying that his legacy of progress and prosperity would live on for generations to come.

Oladiji ,who lauded late Akeredolu for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to development,said he would be greatly missed by the people of Ondo State and the country at large.

Responding on behalf of Akeredolu’s family,Mr Oluwole Akeredolu, expressed, the brother to the late governor, appreciated the House for the visit, saying the death of the late governor was a colossal loss to the family.
