Akeredolu lays foundation for establishment of University by Jimoh Ibrahim

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, on Saturday, laid the foundation for the establishment of University of Fortune, in Igbotako community of Okitipupa Local Government area in Ondo State.

The new institution was established by Barr Jimoh Ibrahim (CFR), a business mogul, in his country home, Igbotako.

Starnews NG reports that Governor Akeredolu also laid the foundation of the university’s Senate building, Faculties of Law, Humanities and Applied Health Sciences, infirmary and staff quarters, among others.

While appreciating the state government at the foundation laying ceremony of the University, Barr Jimoh said he established the University out of genuine desire to make critical intervention in the delivery of quality university education in Nigeria.
