Aiyedatiwa’s candidacy widely accepted —Banji Okunomo

Banji Okunomo, the Secretary 1 of the Strategic and Development Communication Committee of the Aiyedatiwa Governorship Campaign Council, has disclosed that the candidacy of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa is widely accepted by all and sundry in Ondo State.

Okunomo, who stated this in a statement obtained by Starnews NG on Thursday, said the rationale behind the Governor’s acceptance was due to his yeoman’s performance coupled with his magnanimous gesture towards the masses.

Okunomo also described the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Campaign which recently took place in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area of the state, as impressive, adding that the rally is a harbinger of better times to come.

He stated, “The impressive turnout today at the APC Governorship Campaign Rally in Ore, Odigbo LGA, signals a promising victory for the APC in the November 16 election.

“The venue was so vibrant that people hardly noticed each other’s presence.

“Aiyedatiwa’s candidacy is widely accepted across Ondo State, stemming from his outstanding performance over the past few months.

“Once again, the people of Ondo State cannot find a credible alternative to the incumbent among the opposition parties.

“The major opposition party, PDP, completely missed the mark with their choice at the primary election. The people of the state view Aiyedatiwa as the best candidate for the state at this time.
