The newly appointed Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Forestry (Ondo South), Hon. Bidemi Obayangban, has described the governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, as a governor who is pro-masses.
Obayangban in a statement he personally signed and made available to Starnews NG on Thursday, thanked Governor Aiyedatiwa for finding him worthy of the state assignment while assuring that he would bring his wealth of expertise and experience to bear in his new preferment.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has again demonstrated his avowed and abiding love for the people, not just by calling me to service but by also appointing into government other deserving members of the party across the state. His decision shows that he is a true party man who is committed to the growth of our great party and sensitive enough to act in favour of the interest of the majority.
“The appointments made have great socioeconomic advantages to the people and the party. And that is how to identify a leader that cares. His actions in the various sectors have been assuring and relieving. Only a pro-masses leader does this. Personally I am appreciative of this privilege of service and will multiply the opportunity in reaching out to more of our people.”
While commending Governor Aiyedatiwa for bringing on board competent men and women to serve, Hon Obayangban congratulated other appointees and encouraged them to put in their best in the various capacities in the ultimate interest of the state.
