The Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has rejoiced with the entire members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide on the 82nd birthday of Daddy G.O, Pastor E.A. Adeboye.

According to a statement issued on Sunday, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Aiyedatiwa said God had steadily used Adeboye to enlarge the coast of the church from where Pa Josiah Akindayomi stopped.

It“ is a thing of joy to note that the late founder of the RCCG, Pa Akindayomi was an illustrious son of Ondo State and we cannot but identify with Pastor Adeboye on this important celebration of his birthday.

“With the miraculous evangelical works that God has wrought through him over the years, we can only thank God for upholding His church even in the midst of ravaging storms.

“Pastor Adeboye’s steadfastness, strict adherence to the teachings of Christ, sound doctrinal embellishments, prayerfulness and corporate social responsibilities have all rubbed off positively on nation building as well as promoted peaceful coexistence.

“While we pray that the gates of hell will not prevail over the church of God, we pray that God’s grace will continue to flow on Pastor Adeboye’s life, family and ministry.

“On behalf of the good people of Ondo State, we celebrate a great General in the Lord’s vineyard.
