Adeyemi Students Block Road To Protest Blackout, water scarcity in Ondo

Students of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo are currently protesting against the institution’s negligence of students’ welfare on the part of the management.

The students in large numbers are protesting against the failure of the institution’s management to provide basic amenities like water and electricity to the students, while they continue to collect exorbitant levies from them.

The protesters who had blocked the major road since 6am halted vehicular movement at the school gate, forcing many road users to take alternative routes.

The students who brought out their empty buckets to signify their problems with scarcity of water in the campus are calling for immediate intervention from relevant authorities as the protest will continue until changes are seen.

Men of the Nigeria Police force are at the scene of the protest to avoid breakdown of law and order.
