The Acting Rector, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo, Mr. Olorunwa Adegun, has approved the appointment of Dr Ademuyiwa Joshua Adegbegi of the Institution’s Department of Science Laboratory Technology as the new Managing Director of the institution’s Consultancy Firm, also known as RUGIPO Ventures.
As at the time of his appointment, Dr Ademuyiwa was the Head of Unit, Biochemistry, Department of Science Laboratory Technology.
Starnews Nigeria reports that Adegbegi takes over from Mr A.A. Fadero, a former Auditor of the Institution.
Dr Adegbegi is expected to use his wealth of experience and exposure to bring about innovation and development to the institution, through the Ventures, particularly in the area of revenue boosting and economic growth of the institution.
RUGIPO venture is the Business arm of the institution, a fully registered consult with the Corporate Affairs Commission, set up to generate revenue, boost the income of the institution, and enhance economic growth and development.
