The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has temporarily halted gate fees at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
This decision, announced in a statement by FAAN on Saturday, aims to ease traffic challenges for road users.
The suspension started on Friday, January 24, 2025, and will run until Friday, February 7, 2025.
FAAN explained that this measure addresses the inconvenience caused by ongoing construction projects around the airport, promising a better experience for travelers, Punch reports.
The authority urged the public to take note of the temporary arrangement and assured them of continued efforts to enhance road accessibility during the construction period.
