Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has raised an alert to Nigeria’s security forces about imminent plans to kidnap Emirs and launch attacks on palaces nationwide. The warning, covering the period between December 2024 and February 2025, was made public through a statement issued by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho.
According to Primate Ayodele, extremist groups such as Boko Haram, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), and the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) will face heightened military operations during this period, with some leaders being neutralized or captured by the Nigerian army.
He further predicted an uptick in attacks targeting farmers, emphasizing the need for increased vigilance and security measures to safeguard lives and property.
In his statement, the cleric said:
“There will be attacks against Emirs, farmers, and palaces across the country. Plans are underway to kidnap Emirs and farmers between December and February next year.
“The Nigerian army will achieve significant success in combating these bandits. I foresee the elimination of some Boko Haram, ESN, and ISWAP leaders by the military. Several of them will also be apprehended during this period.”
Primate Ayodele’s warnings highlight the urgency for security agencies to act decisively to thwart these threats and ensure the safety of citizens and traditional institutions.
