Aiyedatiwa’s 18-0 Win: A Testament to Hard Work, Unity in Ondo – Aiyerin

Pastor Olusegun Aiyerin, the respected Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, and Cooperative Services in Ondo State, has offered warm congratulations to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa following his re-election.

In a gathering held at his home on College Road, Ilupeju Ilutitun, with APC leaders and stakeholders, Pastor Aiyerin credited the Governor’s remarkable success not just to chance, but to his steadfast dedication and exemplary performance during his tenure.

He emphasized that while luck can influence politics, the resounding 18-0 result in the recent elections is primarily a reflection of the Governor’s diligent efforts and the strong rapport he has established with the electorate.

Pastor Aiyerin commended the Governor’s tireless campaign, which involved countless late nights and extensive outreach across all 18 local government areas of Ondo State. He highlighted that these vigorous endeavors were further enhanced by a solid record of achievements during the Governor’s initial ten months in office.

“Despite the intense demands of the campaign, Aiyedatiwa remained committed to his governance and administrative duties, solidifying his position as a leader focused on producing tangible outcomes”, he said.

In his message of congratulations, the Commissioner expressed his belief that the Governor would build on the firm foundation established during his first term. He prayed for Aiyedatiwa’s strength and divine wisdom, urging him to continue guiding Ondo State towards growth and development.

Pastor Aiyerin underscored that the citizens of Ondo State stand to gain significantly from the Governor’s visionary leadership and dedication to enhancing the quality of life in the region.

He also acknowledged the vital contributions of APC leaders and members in Okitipupa local government, where he served as Chairman of the Governorship Election Council.

“Okitipupa emerged as one of the standout local governments, finishing fourth in total votes for the APC and second overall when combining votes for both the APC and PDP, the two leading parties in the election. I praised the unwavering commitment, collaboration, and resolve of the party’s leadership and members, for the exceptional results being a collective efforts of all”, he added.

Addressing pre-election worries regarding potential rifts within the party, Pastor Aiyerin emphasized the strong unity and cohesion within the APC in Okitipupa. He described the election results as a testament to the robust relationship between party leaders and members, rooted in love, peace, and mutual respect throughout the party’s structure in the local government.
