#Ondo2024: Defend Your Vote, No One Can Intimidate you, Akindele Urges Electorate

Former Caretaker Chairman of the Osun State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Adekunle Akindele, has called on the people of Ondo State to remain firm and unyielding in their resolve to replace the ineffective ruling party.

Akindele made this assertion in his hometown, Ilutitun Osooro, in Okitipupa Local Government Area, on Sunday evening during a gathering for the Ilutitun 1, 2, and 3 Wards Meeting.

“The entire State is prepped to vote our candidate, Barr. Agboola Ajayi, because they know he is capable of leading the State back to the right path. Everyone knows the level of poverty in the land cannot be sustained. It is a time bomb, and only Agboola Ajayi is capable of defusing it. They won’t want to give up easily and accept defeat. But be prepared to stand resolute and defend your votes. The minority cannot intimidate the majority. Victory is certain,” he declared to a packed audience.

“I have provided funds for each of the three wards, and the leaders have also been mobilised. Rest assured, whatever is required for this final push will be supplied by us. We fully support this move for a better Ondo State,” he added, as he distributed food items and mobilization funds.

Dr. Akindele further visited selected PDP leaders in the local government, including Chief Ibini, a former State Secretary of the Party, Chief Kuma Adekanmi Lisa of Idepe Kingdom, and other notable figures.

These visits allowed him to gather firsthand information on the Party’s preparedness and to continue his strategic planning to secure victory for Okitipupa Local Government in the upcoming gubernatorial election.
