Why DNA test is more important than naming ceremony — Don Jazzy

Popular Nigerian music producer Michael Collins Ajereh, known professionally as Don Jazzy, recently shared some advice on Instagram, stating that a DNA test is more crucial than a naming ceremony for newborns.

He made this remark in an Instagram Reel posted on Friday. He wrote, ” DNA test is more important than naming ceremony.”

In recent days, online discussions have been buzzing with reactions to a sexual scandal involving a high-ranking Equatorial Guinean official.

As previously reported by Tribune Online, Baltasar Ebang, the former Director General of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), was embroiled in controversy after more than 400 of his intimate videos surfaced publicly.

This exposure, which came amid a fraud investigation, revealed Ebang’s involvement with multiple women.

Following the scandal, Ebang was dismissed from his position by the Equatorial Guinean government and now faces additional corruption charges.

In a related twist, video footage has also emerged of Ebang’s wife allegedly involved in an extramarital affair, further fueling the public’s interest in this story.
