Oyetola urges Osun APC members to stay united for future elections

The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Osun State to maintain unity in order to secure the party’s success in future elections.

This appeal was made during the grand finale of Oyetola’s 70th birthday celebration in Osogbo, which saw a number of high-profile dignitaries in attendance, including the Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Dr. Dayo Mobereola.

Oyetola, who joined the event virtually from Saudi Arabia, where he was observing the lesser hajj, expressed his gratitude for the celebrations held in his absence, calling it a testament to the unity within the APC family in Osun.

“I am deeply honoured by the week-long activities organized in my absence as I join the Septuagenarian club. I urge all of you to continue working together for the good of our party and state. The unity within our family is something I cherish, and I hope we can keep this momentum going,” he said.

In a sermon at the event, Sheikh Muyideen Salman, Chief Imam of Offa, praised Oyetola for his grace and contributions to building people who, in turn, celebrated him grandly. He also encouraged the political class to focus on human capacity development as a way to ensure future investment in society.
