A tire explosion has killed two workers while injuring one other in Atlanta, U.S.
The devastating incident occurred at the Delta Air Lines operations facility at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Tuesday, resulting in the deaths of two workers and injuring another.
The accident happened when a tire burst during removal from an aircraft, according to media reports.
Delta Air Lines has yet to confirm the incident, Reuters reports.
The tragic incident claimed the lives of a Delta employee and a contractor, according to WSB-TV. Another Delta employee was injured in the accident.
The aircraft, which had arrived from Las Vegas on Sunday, was involved in the incident, the station reported, citing flight data.
