BREAKING: Oyo APC chair Omodewu dies

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Chairman in Oyo State, Hon. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, has passed away.

Omodewu, a prominent political figure in Oyo State, died in the early hours of Monday while in the United States of America.

During his distinguished political career, Omodewu served as a commissioner under the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the former governor of Oyo State.

He was well-regarded, particularly in the Itesiwaju Local Government Area, which is part of the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone in the state.

His passing marks a significant loss for the APC and the political community in the region.

The news of his death was confirmed by the APC’s Publicity Secretary in Oyo State, Wasiu Olawale Sadare.

Sadare conveyed the somber news, saying, “The chairman is no more. It is true that the chairman is no more. He died in the early hours of today in the USA.”

Omodewu’s death has sent shockwaves through the political circles in Oyo State, where he was known for his dedication and leadership.

His contributions to the party and his local community will be remembered by many as they mourn his sudden departure.
