APC Chieftain accuses Aiyedatiwa of buying ‘political prostitutes’ while party members suffer in silence

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Ondo state, Barr. Lade Ebiwanno, has accused the state governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa of “buying political prostitutes while party members suffer in silence.

Ebiwanno decried that the majority of APC members are suffering under the present administration, but reluctant to speak up because of fear or favour.

He also asked Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to account for the whereabouts of the federal allocation given to the state since he assumed power.

The APC Chieftain disclosed this in a statement made available to Starnews NG on Wednesday.

According to the statement, “The majority of APC members in Ondo State, particularly the staunch supporters Ayedatiwa are suffering in silence but sycophancy and jejune partisan stimuli will not let them vent their grievances. Even, the political appointees are not left out.”

He continues “If I may ask where is Ayedatiwa spending the allocation coming to Ondo State since he became the Governor? Even the rice palliatives that is meant for the people of Ondo haven’t been distributed.

“Instead of the Governor releasing funds for the party members to woo more supporters for him, he is spending heavily to solicit for the support of some politicians who have gone into political oblivion.

The funniest thing is that he places priority on the new defectors more than the original members of the party without regards to some political bigwigs in APC like Jimoh Ibrahim, Mama Odu and Wale Akinterinwa.

“How can someone who understands politics think people like Mimiko, Kolade Akinjo and many others are more APC than those people?”

He stressed that the governor may lose the coming election if he fails to retrace his steps.

“Ayedatiwa is heading towards the path of political oblivion and if care is not taken, he may go from power to pariah after the November 2024 election,” he said.
