-Nico Williams is considering STAYING at Athletic Club for one more season. Athletic Club want to renew Nico Williams’ contract and increase his release clause to €100M. Barcelona have made it clear to him: “Either join us now, or forget about playing for Barça”
-Frenkie De Jong and Raphinha have REFUSED to leave Barcelona.
-If Barcelona cannot sign Nico Williams, the club will look to sign another left-winger in addition to Dani Olmo.
-Barcelona are preparing a new offer to RB Leipzig for Dani Olmo.
-A Premier League club has submitted a £27M offer to sign Armando Broja from Chelsea.
-Chido Obi-Martin’s decision to leave Arsenal was NOT motivated by money. He agreed a new contract with the club but he had doubts over his pathway into the first-team and Arsenal’s project. Manchester United are leading the race to sign the young striker. Clubs in Germany are also there.
-Morocco tops Group B and advances to the Olympic quarterfinals alongside Argentina.
-Canada are appealing a six-point FIFA deduction against their women’s national team. This penalty was due to a staff member flying a drone over New Zealand’s training before the Paris 2024 Games. The Canadian Olympic Committee and Canada Soccer argue the punishment is unfair to the athletes and exceeds what’s needed to ensure fairness. The appeal was filed with the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
-Lazio offers Barcelona €20m for Vitor Roque. The Italian team is willing to invest this amount for 50% of the Brazilian striker’s economic rights.
-Troyes are back in Ligue 2 after Bordeaux’s bankruptcy. Owned by City Football Group since 2020, Troyes faced back-to-back relegations in the last two seasons.
-João Neves’ move to PSG is a done deal. The midfielder will arrive in Paris on Friday and undergo his medical – he will sign a five-year deal.
-Bournemouth have confirmed the signing of teenage defender Dean Huijsen from Juventus. €18M fee. 6-year contract.
-Atalanta are considering a move for Fiorentina’s Nico González.
-Roma will seal a move for Artem Dovbyk. So far, they have already signed Matias Soule, Mat Ryan, Angelino and Enzo Le Fee.
-PSG have made signing Nico Williams their number one priority. Luis Enrique is a major asset to convince the player and there is a good chance that the transfer will get over the line.
-Arsenal are keen to strengthen their midfield with the signing of Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino after securing the transfer of Riccardo Calafiori.
-Arsenal have reached an agreement on personal terms with Mikel Merino. The Gunners now have to negotiate with Real Sociedad over a fee.

-Marseille have agreed a deal with Inter to sign Valentin Carboni. He is expected to undergo his medical and sign his contract on Saturday.
-Victor Osimhen wants Champions League football, but a move to the Premier League and Chelsea is one he is thought to be very OPEN to.
-During OGC Nice’s training camp in Austria, Terem Moffi is reported to have suffered a torn ACL. The Nigerian international is expected to miss several months of competition. Speedy recovery!
-Tottenham will soon make a decision regarding their move for Federico Chiesa. A move to Turkey and Saudi Arabia has been rejected.
-West Ham have opened talks with Dortmund over the signing of Niclas Fullkrug. The striker is open to the move.
-Atlanta United have signed Alexey Miranchyk from Atalanta for a fee of €15m.
-Randal Kolo Muani and Gonçalo Ramos have both targets for the striker position for Atlético Madrid. Viktor Gyökeres, Loïs Openda or even Alexander Sørloth are also on the list.
-Ismaïla Sarr is currently undergoing his Crystal Palace medical.
-Juventus are set to make an offer for Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi worth €45m (€35m + €10m in bonuses). The winger is said to be interested in moving to the Italian side.
-Galatasaray have submitted a £13m bid for Scott McTominay. Manchester United want £25m for the midfielder.
-Napoli want 70m + Lukaku (rated 30m) for the operation for Osimhen to Chelsea to happen. It will not be a loan, as reported in England today. The only way for loans to happen is this: Lukaku to Napoli with obligation, Osimhen to Chelsea with obligation.
-Chelsea are asking €40m for Conor Gallagher, and Atletico Madrid’s initial offer was just HALF of that.
-Enzo Fernández has apologised face to face to his Chelsea teammates. The apology is understood to have been accepted. Chelsea will take no action against Enzo. The midfielder also made a voluntary contribution to an anti-discrimination charity.
-Eddie Howe has said he’s had no contact with the FA over the England job & has reiterated his commitment to Newcastle.
