Ondo SUBEB promotes over 2000 teachers

Not less than two thousand teachers in public primary schools in Ondo State will receive promotion letters from the Ondo Universal Basic Education Board (ODSUBEB) on Monday July 29.

According to a press release by the Board’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Prince Bolu Diesel Ajijo, the presentation of promotion letters to deserving teachers will take place at the Conference Hall of the Board’s Headquarters in Akure.

Speaking on the annual exercise, the Executive Chairman of the Board, Victor Olabimtan, said the promotion of teachers is in fulfillment of the Board’s and the State Government’s commitment towards boosting the teachers’ morale.

According to Olabimtan, promoting teachers, the molders of a solid foundation for tomorrow’s leaders, as and when due, is the least the government can do for this special category of the workforce. Hence, the Board will always do its best to put smile on their faces.

Expected at the event are the Full-Time Member, Princess Funmilayo Ademulegun-Brown, the Permanent Secretary, Chief ‘Dele Akinnagbe, and all the Education Secretaries from the 18 Local Government Areas.

Others expected are the Heads of Department at the Board’s Headquarters, NUT State, and their Local Government Executives, among others.
