Oyo govt probes patient’s death in Ibadan hospital

The Oyo State Government has launched an investigation into the death of a patient at a prominent private hospital in Ibadan.

Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi, the Commissioner for Health, made this announcement, offering condolences to the family of the deceased on behalf of the state government.

She acknowledged the widespread circulation of a video related to the incident and reaffirmed the government’s dedication to uncovering the truth.

According to the statement, “It has come to the attention of the Ministry of Health, Oyo State, of a video clip in circulation over an unfortunate incidence of a loss of life that occurred to one of the patient at a prominent private hospital in Ibadan.

“On behalf of Oyo State Government, the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi, wishes to commiserate with the family of the deceased.”

The statement further disclosed that the Ministry of Health shall keep the public updated on the unfortunate incidence
