-Marseille have signed Mason Greenwood from Manchester United. £26.6m fee + a big sell-on clause. Long-term contract.
-Manchester City have signed Sávio on a five-year contract from their sister-club Troyes. Sávio was on loan last season at another one of City’s sister clubs, Girona. Manchester City have paid an initial £21M for Sávio, potentially rising to £33.6M with add-ons.
-Kasper Schmeichel is the new goalkeeper at Celtic. The former Leicester GK has signed a one-year deal with the Scottish club.
-Juan David Cabal has joined Juventus from Hellas Verona for €11M.
-Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has advised Marc Guiu to leave the club on a one-season loan, with Espanyol in the running.
-Atleti’s interest in Mikel Merino is most advanced. Arteta also likes the player, while Barca’s interest depends on offloading Frenkie De Jong first.
-Fulham are expected to return with a fresh bid for Emile Smith Rowe, who Arsenal are willing to sell. A first bid in the region of £25m was rejected over the weekend.
