BBNaija’s Pere Debunks Rumors About Sharon Ooja’s Husband

By Our Correspondent

Former Big Brother Naija contestant, Pere Egbi, has addressed rumors surrounding Ugo Nwoke, the husband of Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja.

Pere disclosed that a cousin of Ugo confirmed to him that Ugo had only been married once, contrary to claims that he was previously married three times.

Recall that shortly after Sharon Ooja’s traditional wedding in Abuja, journalist Stella Dimokorkus reported that Ugo was on his fourth marriage. She asserted that his three previous marriages had all ended in failure.

Pere took to his X handle to share a message from a woman who identified herself as a family friend of Sharon’s husband, stating that Ugo had only one prior marriage. He reiterated this information, noting that Ugo’s cousin, who is Pere’s friend in Dallas, confirmed the same detail.

Criticizing the spread of unverified information, Pere expressed frustration with blogs that publish negative news without fact-checking. He emphasized that there is nothing wrong with a divorcee remarrying, and urged people to be more discerning about the stories they believe.

He wrote, “Her husband’s cousin is my really good friend in Dallas. It’s funny how people read things and because they are gullible, they believe it. And how are blogs just so focused on negative things to just carry any kind of story amazes me. They don’t care about the authenticity, they just carry it.

“Her husband’s cousin confirmed the same thing to me. Married once. And there’s nothing wrong with being married once.”
