Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Wednesday inaugurated three newly appointed members of the state’s Civil Service Commission at the Cocoa Conference Hall in Akure.
The event, which drew top government officials, dignitaries, and well-wishers, marked the confirmation of these appointees by the state House of Assembly.
The newly appointed commissioners are Mr. Mathew Ayorinde Imoru, Mr. Sunday Abiodun Agbotoba, and Barr. Iyabo Toboukepere Akpoebi.
Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized the qualifications and backgrounds of the new commissioners, noting that their selection complies with Section 197 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended).
He praised the Civil Service Commission for fostering high moral values, efficiency, and responsiveness in the state’s civil service.
“It is a great delight for me to inaugurate the three newly appointed commissioners of the State Civil Service Commission. The appointment of these distinguished and well-qualified bureaucrats is in accordance with Section 197 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended),” he stated.
“A review of their profiles reveals our commitment to the Civil Service structure of the state. Consequently, I have approved the nomination of retired bureaucrats with civil service backgrounds and excellent records,” he added.
