Oliseh declares interest in Eagles job

Former Nigeria midfielder Sunday Oliseh has said he would be interested in taking over the national team.

The role is vacant after Finidi George resigned last month.

Oliseh himself succeeded the late Stephen Keshi as Eagles coach in 2015 and quit in 2016.

The ex-Borussia Dortmund midfielder has said if the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, approaches him for a second stint, he “will answer.”

Speaking on Elegbete TV, Oliseh said: “Nothing brings me more joy than my people.

“If my country wants to speak with me, I will answer. I can also give technical assistance because we need to qualify for the World Cup.”
