A young man, a graduate of Kogi State Polytechnic, lost his life in a road accident while traveling to Okene.
The deceased, identified as Emmanuel, was riding a motorcycle near the GT Plaza area in Felele, Lokoja, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, when he was struck by an overspeeding trailer truck.
The impact of the collision was devastating, and Emmanuel succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) officers promptly arrived and recovered the victim’s body, which has been deposited in a hospital mortuary.
