Senator Onukun is dead

Senator Michael Onukun (OON) is dead.

Sources told Starnews NG on Thursday that the Second Republic Senator in the old Ondo State who represented the good people of Ondo West Senatorial District, now Ondo South, at the National Assembly died around 11:57 PM at the age of 98.

The Second Nigerian Republic was a brief formation of the Nigerian state which succeeded the military governments formed after the overthrow of the first republic. It was between 1979 to 1983.

Starnews NG reports that the late Onukun was an Ikale man from Ilutitun-Moribodo, in Okitioupa Local Area of Ondo State.
