Just In: Lagos task force impounds 380 motorcycles

 

Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos Police Command, has announced that 380 motorcycles have been impounded by the Lagos State Task Force for operating on routes where they are prohibited.

According to Hundeyin, the task force commander, CSP Shola Jejeloye, led the enforcement team on Friday to enforce the ban.

He wrote, “Commander Task Force, CSP Shola Jejeloye, and team today continued the enforcement of the ban on the use of motorcycles on prohibited routes at Abule Ado, Trade Fair, Iyana Iba and LASU areas.

“A total of 380 motorcycles were impounded. Enforcement continues.”
