Omowunmi, the wife of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, has raised an alarm over threat to her life and that of her child.

Omowunmi also requested for a court order to be issued to carry out a DNA test to ascertain her son’s true paternity.

In a voice note that went viral on social media, she alleged that she was being harassed daily by an unidentified individual, who threatened to gun her down at the coroner’s inquest.

She added that when her husband spoke up about being bullied, he was labelled a drug abuser, which led to him having low self-esteem; but that on her part, she would not keep silent.

She said, “I have never done this, because my husband never wanted it. I am not scared to die, but enough is enough. Nigerians, please come to my rescue. They have cursed my son severally and today, they said my son would not live up to the age of one. That was the same thing that was done to Mohbad, but nobody helped. Instead, he was labelled a drug dealer. Abuse me all you want. I am used to it, but don’t come for Liam. He is all I have, and I am the only parent he has.

“They are using DNA (test) to keep me shut, but I won’t keep quiet anymore. Please, tell baba (Mohbad’s dad, Joseph) to bring a court order for the DNA test to be done. He has not got the order, because he is happy that my son, who I carried for 10 months, is getting bashed daily. Baba sees Liam as a threat, and is using his Mohbad’s death to make money online. He is working with the same people that bullied Mohbad. He has even been seen with the same people that fought with Mohbad 48 hours before his death.”

She added that it was Mohbad’s dad that actually encouraged her to have a child, claiming that he saw a vision that she would give him a grandchild.
