A group, Ondo Collectives has urged the state Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa to select Deputy Governor with a “human touch.”

The Ondo Collectives, a dynamic association rooted both in Ondo State and in the diaspora, extended condolences on the passing of former Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, while anticipating the nomination of a Deputy Governor for the smooth running of governance as enshrined by the constitution.

In a statement made available to Starnews NG by the group president, Hon. “As the burial arrangements for the former Governor unfold, we trust that due consideration will be given to this critical nomination, ensuring the appointment of an individual who resonates with the diverse aspirations of the state.

“The Ondo Collectives remains dedicated to supporting initiatives that foster socio-political and economic development in Ondo State. We believe that a thoughtful selection for the Deputy Governor position will significantly contribute to the overall well-being of the state and its citizens,” the statement stated.
