JUST-IN : Bada Wins PDP Ticket For Akoko Bye-Election 

 

 

Olalekan Dada has been elected as the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Akoko North East/ Akoko North West federal constituency bye-election slated for February 3,2024.

 

The Publicity Secretary of the PDP in the state, Kennedy Peretei in a terse statement on Monday said, ” Bada came top at the primary conducted at the Jobi Fele Civic Centre, Ikare-Akoko, Bada polled 36 Votes while his closest rival Daniel Omolola polled 20 votes.

 

” Chairman PDP Electoral Panel Hon ‘ Kunmi Adesina declared as duly returned as the Candidate of the Party at the February 3, 2024 election.”

 

PDP leadership in the state had earlier endorsed Bada as preferred Candidate, which led to suspension of its state Chairman, Hon. Fatai Adams.

Bada will face the APC Candidate, Ife Ehindero in the bye-election.
