Founder and President of the Remnant Christian Network, Apostle Arome Israel Osayi, has disclosed that there are many preachers in Nigeria that deserved to be quarantined due to their overzealous message of prosperity.
The cleric disclosed this during one of his messages that recently surfaced online.
He explained that the message of prosperity should not be at the front burner, adding that prosperity is a product of an alignment with God.
“If not because we are online I have a list of preachers in Nigeria that should be quarantined for a long time, at least for five years, in order to have adequate purging.”
“If the message of prosperity becomes a message that is in your front burner, you’re not useful to God,” he said.
Osayi pointed out that if you do what God commanded you to do, prosperity will inevitably navigate your direction.
While calling on his listeners to be cautious of the type of message of prosperity they hear from preachers, he noted that Jesus Christ did not call some of the so-called men of God who are now hiding under the message of prosperity to garner the crowd.
“We need to be careful with the kind of prosperity message will preach. We have preachers Jesus did not call, but hiding under message of prosperity and you crowd trooping in there in order to tap from the prosperity”, he said
Osayi stated further that a message of prosperity is a consequence of your alignment with God, adding that you need to seek first the kingdom of God before the riches of the gentiles can be given to you as the Bible stipulates.
He added that it is only when you do what God asked you to do and work in line with His commandments that prosperity will locate you.
“As powerful as the message of prosperity is, it is the consequence of alignment with God. You need to seek first the kingdom of God, His righteousness and He will give all the gentiles have gathered to you.
“Your alignment with kingdom things makes you eligible for kingdom support. You are not born to receive kingdom support if your life is not adequately aligned with the kingdom of God and doing what God want us to do is the secret of prosperity”, Apostle Osayi added.
Prosperity gospel, in Protestant Christianity, is regarded as the teaching that faith which is expressed through positive thoughts, positive declarations, and donations to the church will draw health, wealth, and happiness into believers’ lives.
