Nollywood actor, Dejumo Lewis, has been reported dead.
His demise was reported by actor, Saidi Balogun, through a post on his Instagram account on Saturday.
Sharing the photo of the late veteran, Saidi wrote, “Good night DEJUMO LEWIS, may your soul rest in perfect peace. RIP.”
The circumstances of Lewis’ passing remain undisclosed, but Balogun’s tribute has sparked an outpouring of condolences from fans, fellow actors, and actresses.
Lewis, a renowned Nigerian film and television actor, was best known for his role as Kabiyesi in “The Village Headmaster,” Nigeria’s longest-running television soap opera aired on NTA from 1968 to 1988, alongside Justus Esiri, Femi Robinson, and others.
Additionally, he delivered memorable performances in acclaimed films like “A Place in the Stars” (2014), “Crossroads” (2020), and “Power of 1” (2018).
