Police Arrest Three With Human Hearts

 

Three men have been apprehended with two human hearts in Ogun state.

The suspects were arrested by Operatives of the Zone 2 Police Command, comprising Lagos and Ogun states.

The human hearts were found while scouring the house of one of the suspects in the Oke-Ola area of Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State.

The Zonal Public Relations Officer, SP Tunni Ayuba, made this known on Thursday in Lagos.

The police spokesperson said that during interrogation the suspect revealed that a man paid N50,000 to assist in obtaining two human hearts.

The second suspect identified the third suspect as the source of the human parts.

According to SP Ayuba, investigation is ongoing, adding that the two suspected human hearts have been sent to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital for examination.
