**Reveals Tinubu’s true resolution on Akeredolu, Aiyedatiwa’s feud
**Lambasts State Assembly for lack of transparency, failure to carry out the president’s instruction

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Ondo State, Akinola Awodeyi-Akinsehinwa, popularly known as Apata, has exposed cabals causing crisis in Ondo state government.
Starnews Nigeria reports that the APC Chieftain attributed the political crisis in the state to selfish desires of the people in government to become the next governor of the state ahead of the 2024 governorship election.
Awodeji shared all these revelations while speaking on Fresh FM today in Akure, the Ondo State Capital, while narrating the details of the meeting President Bola Tinubu had with Ondo state cabinet members and lawmakers at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
According to him “The only problem they have is competition among themselves. All of them want to become governor. I stand by it anytime, any day.”
He said “All of them wants to be governor and they are not sympathetic to the health of their boss”.
“If you believe that you love the man(Akeredolu) so much, cherish and believe in him, what stop you from waiting for him to get healed before expressing your desire? All of them want him to resign so they can become governor”, he added.
He also accused the cabals of disseminating fake information about the health of the governor since he embarked on medical vacation to Germany.
“Since the man has been in Germany, they’ve started flying everything around all over the media, just because of their inordinate ambition. It’s only God that ordains.”
Awodeyi, who is an APC chieftain, stated that he was invited to the meeting called by the President in Abuja and was asked to give a detailed explanation of the political crisis in the state.
Speaking further, Starnews Nigeria reports that he disclosed that there were lots of discussions held at the presidential villa with President Tinubu and the resolution was read to those present.
In an audio tape obtained by Starnews Nigeria, Awodeyi said, “after so many discussions, the resolution was read out. When the resolution was read out, I stood up again and told Mr. President that if you ask us not to judge anyone, what becomes the fate of the deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa? You have to look for a way to give him a backup,” he said.
He further explained that the president instructed those present at the meeting not to judge the state executive members.
He explained that the deputy Governor has no power under the law to judge the state assembly members since he is not acting in the position of the governor.
He also expressed disappointment that despite the resolution reached with the president, the state excos and the lawmakers refused to go by it.
The APC chieftain further stated that the deputy Governor admitted to apologizing to the governor, even without committing any offence when he was accused of trying to override his boss at his absence.
In defence of the deputy Governor, Honorable Awodeyi said “the Deputy governor said he had apologized on the media and every other platform to his boss and everyone at the meeting confirmed it. He(Aiyedatiwa) also sent Senator Jimoh Ibrahim to Akeredolu, twice to ask for his offence and he confirmed it.”
He also explained that the deputy Governor challenged his accusers to present evidences of their allegations to the president while at the meeting, adding that no evidence was presented.
“The President asked them if they had any evidence against the deputy-governor, but none was presented”.
He maintained that he would never support anyone wishing Akeredolu dead, stressing that all allegations levelled against Aiyedatiwa were mere hearsays.
Speaking on the undated resignation letter raised, the APC chieftain said it was mentioned at the meeting.
According to him, “They don’t really get what the president said. The President said that you must not sack the excos, judge the assembly, and you must not judge the party. All they want to do was to put Mr. President into a jeopardy by saying go and impeach the acting governor or his deputy. The President told them that Aketi remains the governor, irrespective of whatever that’s going on and staus-quo must be maintained. They were only sent to do a doctrine of necessity.”
He also accused the lawmakers and chieftains of the party of doing contrary to what President Tinubu instructed them to do about the “doctrine of necessity” when they returned to Akure.
“How many of these so-called party actors were involved in the formation of the party in Ondo state? They only came to reap. Let them tell me their contributions to the party.”
When asked if he reached out to talk to the party actors and players on the president’s resolution, Awodeji said “I spoke to about three or four of them privately,” but refused to mention their names.
“What has the governor done to his excos that they hate him so much and pretend that they love him?” He asked.
He noted that “there is a third eye behind the scene sending all kinds of things out,” highlighting that he has caught three of them who are not part of the government but are governorship aspirants under the ruling APC.
“I asked all of them who want to contest if they truly love Aketi. I challenged them to put his picture with theirs in posters for people to see. None of them can do that.”
He emphasized that the governor has spoken but refused to disclose what he said to the public.
He, however, appealed to the actors and players in Ondo politics to allow the state move forward, saying “everything they do today will be a history written either positively or negatively against them in the future.”
“What those people don’t understand is that Aketi and Lucky are best of friends. Aketi has his own candidate. They work together.”
“Aketi made an innocent mistake. He’s a free hearted person and hides nothing. He said on the day he was sworn in that he has played his part and the rest is now left for Lucky. Aketi said it that “I’ve gotten my second term, Lucky, it is now your turn”. He said it publicly and I challenged him (Aketi) that he can’t impose any candidate on us. He has no right to make such a decision.
“That was the day they started having issue. How am I sure that they are not behind Aketi’s health issues?
“They should allow my brother to recover and stop all these craps. If you want to become the governor, go and campaign!
“Let them stop all these shenanigans and let Ondo state move forward”, he added.
Starnews Nigeria can report that Hon. Awodeji-Akinsehinwa who was the Deputy Southern Coordinator of Tinubu/Shettima Independent Campaign Council in the 2023 presidential election, said he has a very cordial relationship with President Tinubu, describing him as a father and the one who introduced him into politics.
