Some Northern Nigerian Christian clerics have commiserated with the kaduna state government, and millions of Nigerians Muslims over the bombing incident that happened at Tudun Biri in lgabi local government area of the state.
The General Overseer of Christ Evangelical and life intervention ministry, Pastor Dr, Yohanna Buru, Reverend Zigo Aziz, Pastor George and Pastor Joshua Ahmed all expressed sympathy to Muslim ummah over the ugly incident that claimed lives of children during Maulud celebration in Kaduna Community.
They equally conveyed their condolences to the government and the entire people of Kaduna State, as well as the families of those who lost their loved ones, and prayed for the repose of the victims’ souls.
They prayed to Almighty God to grant the deceased Aljannah Fidousi.
Buru in his condolence message said that they had already set their condolence messages/greetings to all the Nigerians Muslim leaders including Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar ll, Sheikh Dr, Dahiru Usman Bauchi, Sheikh Ibrahim Zazzaky, and Sheikh Yusuf Sambo Rigachikum over the ugly incident.
The clerics also promised to visit the injured victims receiving treatment at the Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, and prayed for their quick recovery.
While offering prayers for God to bring an end to the problems surrounding insecurity ravaging the country, the clerics said “We pray that may their gentile souls rest in peace and we will keep praying for peace and unity in Nigeria.”
The Kaduna State Government in a statement said the Nigerian Army has claimed responsibility for the bomb attack on the Tudun -Biri village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State which left no fewer than 30 villagers dead on Sunday.
