Envy Can Take You To Hell

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians 5:19-21.

Envy and jealousy are worldly attitude which ordinarily should be found among unbelievers and in the dark places. But sadly, it is very prevalent in religious centres, among pastors and ministers, and among the so called children of God. Hardly did many Christians know that anyone guilty of envy cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

What are the causes of Envy.

-When money is involved
-When power is involved
-When you have the gift of God
-When you have a talent
-When you carry Joseph and David glory

Envy and jealousy are work of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21) and it can lead someone to hell.

Consequences of Envy :

– Judas envy Jesus Christ and died a shameful death. Mathew 27:18

– Cain Killed his brother Abel (Genesis 4) and could not have a rest of mind because his brother’s blood was pursuing him.

-Aaron and Miriam envy Moses (Number 12 vs 1) and God visited them with anger.

I don’t really know if the spirit of Envy and jealousy are in you. But I know that you know yourself more than me. Who knows if this message is for you. Please repent today as you never can tell if tomorrow might be too late.

It is your fault if you miss Heaven. I just told you…

Say : Lord Jesus, I am sorry for my sin. Forgive me. (confess your sin) I accept you today as my Lord and Saviour, come into my life and remain there forever. Amen.
