JUST IN: Many Injured As Gunmen Attack Kogi SDP Campaign Office

Again, gunmen allegedly working for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State have reportedly attacked the campaign office of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate, Murtala Ajaka.

The SDP campaign office situated in the Ofu Local Government Area of the state was attacked on Tuesday morning.

This is coming a few days after some hoodlums said to be working for the APC, unleashed terror and disrupted the governorship campaign rally of SDP in Ejule, Ofu local government area of the state.

The hoodlums are said to have destroyed vehicles and other valuables worth millions of naira during the previous event.

Also, the Zonal Charman of SDP, Pastor Sunday Atabo, had claimed that his house was raided and vehicle vandalised on Saturday morning.

An eyewitness who confirmed the recent attack, took to social media to share photos showing glass windows destroyed by hoodlums. Two ‘bullets’ allegedly used by the gunmen were seen at the scene.

“MuriSam Campaign office Ofu Local Govt was attacked and glass windows destroyed by unknown gunmen suspected to be APC thugs.

“Glory be to God for the life of my family and I, as APC thugs shot sporadically in my house and destroyed all the glass windows,” the eyewitness shared on his Facebook page.

The campaign council of SDP has since called on President Bola Tinubu and security agencies to urgently intervene and address the drift in Kogi State before it impairs democracy in the state.
