Nigeria’s Ambassador To Morocco Bamalli Dies At 42

 

 

Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco and a Prince of Zazzau Emirate in Kaduna State, Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamalli, is dead. He was aged 42.

He was the Magajin Garin Zazzau and younger brother to the incumbent Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Nuhu Bamalli.

A statement by the Media and Publicity officer of the Zazzau Emirate Council on Friday said Ambassador Bamalli died at a private hospital in Lagos while on transit to Morocco.

The statement added that “funeral prayers will be announced later.”

He is survived by a wife and two children.

Recall that former President Muhammadu Buhari had appointed the deceased to the ambassadorial position in 2022.

Before his appointment, he was a deputy director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
