Gov Buni Approves Employment Of Community Nurses In Yobe

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has approved the employment of 158 community nursing graduates of Dr Shehu Sule College of Nursing and Midwifery, Damaturu, as part of a strategy to boost healthcare service delivery.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Saturday by the Director General of press and Media Affairs to the Governor, Mamman Mohammed.

According to the statement, the newly employed health workers are graduates of two sets of community nursing of the college.

“Similarly, Governor Buni has approved the payment of N10,000 monthly allowance to 393 students of Yobe State origin undergoing National Diploma and Basic Midwifery programmes at the Shehu Sule College of Nursing and Midwifery.
