JUST IN: Nigeria’s Trade Deficit Hits N5.7trn

 

Nigeria’s trade deficit in the second quarter of 2023 stood at N5.7tn, according to the Foreign Trade Statistics report published by the National Bureau of Statistics on Thursday.

In the second quarter of 2023, Nigeria’s total trade stood at N12.7tn while total exports stood at N7tn and total imports amounted to N5.7tn.
