A suspected ritualist has been arrested by the operatives of the Ondo State Police Command after he was allegedly caught with a human skull. According to The Cable Newspaper, the suspect identified as Franklin Akinyosuyi was paraded alongside other criminals yesterday in Akure, the capital city of the state.

While speaking with newsmen, Franklin revealed that he was a photographer and an owner of a clothing shop but his business was not booming so he decided to seek help from a ritualist. He paid a sum of N200,000 to the herbalist who gave him a human skull which he would use to bathe himself. He said the herbalist asked him to bathe the human skull every Thursday for one month.

However, after completing the task, his business remained the same. He asked the herbalist to refund his money and he was in the process of discarding the human skull when he was caught.

“I am a photographer and I own a boutique as well. It was last year that my uncle took me to a herbalist. I explained to him that my business wasn’t moving well, so he asked me to pay N200,000 to make a concoction for me which I paid within three weeks. He directed that I should be bathing with the human head every Thursday at exactly 1 am. I used it for a month but didn’t see any difference in my business.” The suspect stated.
