‘We are suffering’, Pastor Adeboye cries out, begs God for mercy upon Nigeria

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has lamented the hardship being faced by Nigerians.

In a viral video recently seen online by Starnews Nigeria, Pastor Adeboye who was visibly disturbed and unhappy, pleaded with God to have mercy on Nigeria, saying ‘We are suffering, Almighty God please have mercy”.

According to him, “Nigerians are feeling guilty and have nowhere to hide. But God, through your mercy, have compassion on our country and our families.”

Speaking further, he called on God to turn Nigeria around for good and take away the sufferings of the masses because they are becoming unbearable.

“We have neglected you, we no longer value your presence, we always question your existence and we do things on our own. Lord, please have mercy on our dear country,” he pleaded.

“Have mercy on the helpless, the fatherless and the poor. It is only you that can fight for us because we are powerless.” Adeboye added.

Starnews Nigeria reports that the recent increase in pump price of petrol has brought untold hardships on Nigerians in various aspects with rising cost of living due to increased prices of foods items nationwide.

Meanwhile, the President in his broadcast message to the nation on Monday pleaded for more time to revive the country’s economy, assuring that adequate palliative would be put in place to cushion the effects of the subsidy removal on Nigerians, Starnews Nigeria can report.
