Senate Awaits Second Batch as 11 States Left Out in Tinubu’s Ministers List

 

 

The Senate awaits another list of Ministrial nominees from the remaining 11 States of the Federation as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met the 60days Constitutional mandate by submitting 28 Ministrial nominees to the National Assembly on Thursday.

The remaining States are Adamawa, Bayelsa, Gombe, Kano, Kebbi, Kogi, Plateau, Lagos, Osun, Yobe and Zamfara.

Findings by the Starnews indicate that Mr. President left out the remaining States to sort out some hitches among party chieftains.

While reading the Ministrial list out at the plenary session on Thursday, the Senate President, Goodwill Akpabio stated that the list is not exhaustive as they expect more names in few days.

28 Ministrial nominees names were called out at the red chamber session of the National Assembly today.

Starnews had published the names of the Ministrial nominees read by the Senate President.

Among the Ministrial list announced three States have two Nominees each and they are Bauchi, Cross River and Katsina states.

The names of the nominees in accordance with their various states are as follows; Akwa Ibom: Ekperikpe Ekpo,
Cross River: Betta Edu, Cross River: John Enoh

While Delta has Stella Okotete, Edo: Abubakar Momoh, Rivers: Nyesom Wike, Bauchi: Yusuf M Tuggar Bauchi: Ali Pate
Borno: Abubakar Kyari, Taraba: Sani A Danladi, Jigawa: Mohamed Badaru, Kaduna: Nasir El-Rufai Katsina: Ahmad Dangiwa and Katsina: Hanatu Musawa
Sokoto: Bello M Goronyo.

The nominee in Abia state is Nkiru Onyejiocha, Anambra: Uju Ohaneye, Ebonyi: David Umahi, Enugu: Uche Nnaji, Imo: Doris Uzoka, Ekiti: Dele Alake, Ondo: Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Ogun: Olawale Edun

Others are Oyo: Adebayo Adelabu, Benue: Joseph Utsev, Kwara: Lateef Fagbemi, Nasarawa: Imaan S-Ibrahim and Niger state has Mohammed Idris
