The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign train landed in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State on Thursday with a promise to the people that Atiku Abubakar will provide maximum security for them and end the persistent herdsmen invasion of their farmland if elected the president of Nigeria in the forthcoming general elections.
This assurance was given by Chief Eyitayo Jegede, SAN while speaking on behalf of Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign council in Ifon town, headquarters of Ose Local Government in Ondo State.
“My good people of Ose Local Government, Atiku Abubakar is aware of your suffering most especially the persistent invasion of your farmland by herdsmen. The ruling APC has failed you. You, people, can no longer go to farm because of the failure of APC government to provide security for lives and property across the 36 states of Nigeria. The time is now to vote them out so that you can go about your lawful duty without fear of insecurity. Atiku will provide maximum security for you and end the persistent herdsmen invasion of your farmland if elected the president of Nigeria in the forthcoming general elections”, Jegede said.
Starnews Nigeria reports that PDP supporters at the rally expressed frustration and disappointment over the hardship in the country which they attributed to the cluelessness and bad policies of the APC’s administration led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
At the rally, the PDP House of Assembly Candidate for Ose State Constituency, Mr Saporu Olumide, was presented to the people by Hon. Fatai Adams, the State Chairman of the party in Ondo State.
