Faculty President Celebrates Ex Rugipo’s Head of Department Birthday

The President of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication Studies, Comrade Obasekola Olanrewaju Ahmed has congratulated Mrs Iyadunni Adedowole Florence, one of the very best Heads of Departments in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State on the occasion of her birthday anniversary.

In a congratulatory message made available to Starnews Nigeria on Saturday, Comrade Obasekola said Mrs Iyadunni has demonstrated a high sense of commitment and passion for the welfare of the downtrodden as former Head of the Department of Mass Communication for seven and half years.

He described the former HOD as a virtuous woman who has positively impacted a lot of lives with her commitment to the welfare of the vulnerable in the institution especially students and staff of Mass Communication.

The FSS President praised Mrs Iyadunni for being a strong pillar of support to his educational and leadership skills through her mentorship, motherly advice and act of discipline.

“On behalf of the Faculty of social sciences and communication studies, I heartily felicitate and rejoice with a sincere woman of value, magnanimous, philanthropist, a strong pillar of support to the students in the quest to take our lives to the next level of development, a woman who has impacted the lives of so many downtrodden positively.

“Your passion and commitment to improving our moral and educational lives is touching, the manner of your approach to issues that affect students in the institution is heartwarming and this underscores the fact that you are a true mother of Virtue,” he said.
