BREAKING Shekarau returns to PDP

 

Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, representing Kano Central Senatorial Zone, has officially declared his defection from New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP to Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

 

The declaration was made at a grand ceremony at his residence in Kano on Monday.

 

Shekarau, said he had already written a letter to Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, National, State, Local Government and Ward level sceretariats of NNPP to notify them of his decision to quit the party.

 

 

He also said that he already notified INEC at national and state level of his decision to relinquish his senatorial contest in NNPP.

 

 

The occasion was graced by the presidential candidate of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, Vice Presidential candidate, Daniel Okowa, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto, PDP National Chairman, Iyochia Ayu and other party stakeholders.
