AFCON: Eaglets, Flying Eagles To Know Opponents On Wednesday

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles will get to know their group opponents for the 2023 African Cup of Nations, Starnews reports.

 

The Flying Eagles emerged champions of the West African Football Union ( WAFU) B competition which was held in Niger beating Burkina Faso in the final.

 

While Golden Eaglets also won the U17 WAFU B competition in Ghana to qualify for the AFCON.

 

Africa soccer governing body on Monday evening announced Wednesday, July 20th as the draw date for both competitions.

 

The U17 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Algeria in 2023, while the U20 Africa Cup of Nations is set to take place in Egypt.
