BREAKING: LMC Order remaining NPFL fixtures of 2021/2022 to be played Simultaneously

The Nigeria football league body, League Management Company (LMC) has ordered remaining fixtures of the 2021/2022 to be played

 

Simultaneously across all centers due to fairness and equity in the league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

 

 

 

In a communique issued by the Chief Operating Officer Sahilu Abubakar stating that:

 

 

 

“In pursuance of the league body on fair play and equity, we may please ensure that all logistics are put in place for seamless conclusion of the season.”

 

 

 

 

 

However, it will be a battle to finish among six Nigeria Professional Football League clubs to earn the sole CAF Confederation Cup slot.

 

 

 

With champions, Rivers United and second-placed Plateau United already qualified for the CAF Champions League, Remo Stars, Kwara United, Enugu Rangers, Enyimba, Sunshine Stars and Akwa United have the last two games of the season to seal their continental dreams.

 

 

 

As at Match Day 36, Remo Stars are better placed to win the slot as they are on 56 points while Kwara United are on 55 points.

 

Enugu Rangers are on 53 points and Enyimba are a point below while Sunshine Stars and Akwa United are on 51 points each.
