Deputy governor can’t give necessary stimulus we need in Ondo South – PDP Chieftain

  • No Senatorial District should hold sway unto power, he says
  • PDP has already lost the election before October 10., he added

Solomon Bitire, a former local government chairman and a chieftain of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) from Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, said on Saturday, that no deputy governor can produce the necessary stimulus needed by the good people of Ondo South Senatorial District even if thousands of deputy governors are produced from the region.

Starnews Nigeria reports that Bitire, a former party chairman of chairmen of PDP in Ondo State, spoke during a summit organised by youths of the senatorial district, and held at Okitipupa town, headquarters of Okitipupa Local Government with the topic – The Future of Ondo South: The Challenges And The Way Forward.

He said Ondo South has suffered so much due to political marginalisation in the state and that the only way to right the wrong is for the senatorial district to produce the governor.

Speaking at the occasion, he said: ”dear youths of Ondo South, our senatorial district has suffered so much due to political marginalisation in this state. The only way we can save our future and solve our challenges is to produce a governor.”

”If thousands of deputy governors are produced by our region, it can’t give us the necessary stimulus we need in Ondo South. Ondo South is lagging behind in everything and there are no other means to solve our challenges than to produce a governor”.

”Don’t be deceived, a deputy governor is a spare tire whose survival is at the discretion of his boss, the governor. I saw it all when I joined the advocacy for Ondo South to produce the governor. The political history of Ondo South has shown that the election of governors in the past was on the basis of turn by turn.”

”No Senatorial District should hold sway unto power. Like I have always said, where a political party didn’t respect the culture of zoning by producing their candidate from the right zone, then the electorates would correct the injustice during voting.”

”I am a PDP man, but PDP has already lost this election before the conduct of the election on October 10, 2020, for not doing what is right. The ball is in the court of all of you to save the future of Ondo South and decide the way forward, because I, Solomon Bitire, will not do that for you. I have played my part and it is now over to you”, the outspoken Bitire said at the meeting.

The truth is always bitter, honestly PDP did not have enough capacity to win this coming election. And to those that are talking of betrayed of trust they them self bite the finger that feed them.

It is evil to stand under the UMBRELLA and be working for someone who tried but failed to perforate the umbrella which he had thought was of weak material but turned out to have been made of thicker resistant substance. In month’s time all those who planned to betray & sabotage the PDP will end in utter shame and reproach like the biblical GEHAZI. Some are still hibernating but God will expose them .
