Paradise is not actually located in Heaven as people erroneously believed. It doesn’t matter if you believe me or not, the truth is that paradise is not in heaven just as hell is not also in heaven. And I rely on the scripture before I draw my conclusion.
Before you start your argument, please keep reading and see what Jesus Christ said about Heaven.
Remember that in my previous messages, party 2 of the mystery of creation precisely, I explained with biblical back up that hell is located beneath the earth and not in heaven.
You can check that out from (proverb 9:18), (Isaiah 14:15), (Amos 9:2), (proverb 15:24),
(psalm 139:8), (Job 11:8) and (psalm 86:13).
Now, I put it to you upon revelations of the word of God that paradise is not in heaven as many people erroneously believed just like I also believe in the past that paradise is located in heaven.
Before I refer you to the scripture which I rely upon to draw conclusion, we need to know the meaning of Paradise.
What is paradise?
The definition of paradise in this context means the abode of the dead who died in Christ before the judgement day which is the second death. See look (Luke 16:from verse 22).
Recall also that we earlier told you in previous messages that hell is also an abode of the dead who died as unbeliever before the second death. Read (Luke 16:23).
In short, we all learnt from the scriptures that people who died now have not been ascended to heaven or taken to the lake of fire. Before people will be called into heaven or condemn to the lake of fire, the trumpet must sound which also is the second coming of Jesus Christ which is also the second death(Revelation 20:12-15)
The righteous who died in Christ before the second coming of Jesus Christ are presently house in paradise, while the wicked people who are dead now before the second coming of Jesus Christ are housed in hell, pending when the trumpet of the second coming of Jesus Christ will finally sound.
The argument whether paradise is located in heaven or not has been laid to rest when Jesus came to die for the sins of the entire world. Jesus made the clarification Himself in the book of John 3:13 when he said:
“And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven” (John 3:13).
The word from Jesus Christ Himself is a confirmation that nobody has ever gone to heaven as we erroneously believed. Jesus openly said that the only one who has been to heaven is Himself (son of God) and no any other person.
This corroborated our earlier explanation that those saint like Abraham and many others who died in Christ are housed in paradise, resting there, while the wicked people are trapped in hell, suffering there, pending when the trumpet of His second coming will sound.
If Jesus could say nobody has ever been to heaven, and you also agreed with me that all the saints that died are presently in paradise resting there; then you MUST agree with me that Paradise is not located in heaven. Definitely if paradise is located in heaven, Jesus would not have said that nobody has ever been to heaven except only Him.
Before you quote Luke 23:42-43 where Jesus Christ promised paradise to the thief who died with Him on the cross where the thief said unto Jesus that Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom (Luke 23:22) and Jesus said unto him in verse 43 , Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise, I will like to remind you that Jesus only promised him paradise and not his kingdom. Don’t forget that Jesus also died for 3 days and was in the land of the dead for 3 days to conquer death. (1Corithian 15:55-57), (John 11:25-26).
When Jesus died, he never ascended into heaven directly not until after He resurrected from death and had appeared to His disciples. My point is, when Jesus died, he went to the land of the dead (paradise for the saint) and ( hell for the unbeliever). He promised the thief on the cross that they will meet in paradise because he will soon give up the ghost and meet the saint in paradise (land of the dead) not in heaven. So, it is not confusing at all. Those using that scripture to argue that paradise is in heaven because Jesus asked the thief to meet him there are wrong. The thief only met Jesus in paradise, the land or house of the dead saint, and not heaven.
Jesus kingdom is Heaven while the abode of the saint is paradise. So, the thief was forgiven and asked to join the saint in paradise not heaven so that when the trumpet sound, the thief will rise with the saint to God’s Kingdom during judgment day.
But the question now is where exactly is paradise located?
