A video by Barrister Wale Odusola, a constitutional lawyer from Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State has continued to elicit mixed reactions among netizens.
Starnews had dispassionately reported that Odusola expressed dismay over the prevailing governance in the state, conspicuously pointing at several ills deeply rooted in the Aiyedatiwa-led administration.
Odusola who doubles as a kinsman to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, said “Let Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa hear—now they are saying he is doing projects for Ondo State. That was the same thing former Governor Olusegun Agagu did then. Whenever he was asked to develop Ikaleland, he would say he is not an Ikale Governor but the Governor of Ondo State. Consequently, throughout his stay in office, we cannot point to anything the Ikales benefited from his government.”
Odusola also recalled past governance decisions, stating, “Even OAUSTECH today – he only gave out the contract reluctantly during his second tenure when he realised he might lose the Tribunal case to Dr. Segun Mimiko. He actually thought the Tribunal would order INEC to conduct a rerun election. He did that maybe to get votes from the Ikales. He wasn’t ready to do anything good for the Ikales at all. Look at the substandard roads he constructed in Ikale, saying it’s because he is the Governor of Ondo State.”
Among other critical concerns, the video has triggered copious remarks over the stance of Odusola.
For instance a Facebook user, John Ilufemiloye said “Barrister no kill me with bitter truth in ILAJE dialect. I doubt Ayedatiwa will perform.”
Bismarck Adeteye wrote: “My brother, my solicitor, u are hitting the nail on the head. If u talk, u will die, & if u refuse to talk, u are still going to die. U are wailing & shouting now & nobody cares to listen. Whereas, the shout of the 🐸 frog during the raining season, will still remain the same shout during the dry season.”
Another User, Temitayo Ikusika wrote, “While you were right that the project late Agagu did in Ikaleland was not significant aside the rush hour OSCOTECH,it was also a reality that the Ilaje benefited immensely from that government. Agagu truly,almost neglected Ikale but he opened up Ilaje land. I doubt if any governor can ever beat his landslide achievement in that creek terrain. The road from Igbokoda to Araromi seaside on a swampy and mangrove rainforest which attracts many gigantic bridges at Aboto, Alape and many vast Rivers is a testament. No government has ever matched that achievement till now,not even the federal government. No more “Ile mi ren,house was moving” again an old statement credited to Ilaje people who visited Okitipupa and Igbokoda for the first time and think car 🚗 was a moving house. Now some Ilaje people can packs their cars beside their home in their communities today because of what Agagu did for them, turning mangrove forest to expressway.
By and large,Aiyedatiwa should focus more in Okitipupa to replicate Agagu gesture. After all,many Ilaje lives in Okitipupa than in any other settlements.”
Hon. Adekimoye opined that “A well cerebral and Morally equipped opinion.
Let’s hope he will learn from the Mistakes and Success of Past leaders as expressed.
People around him should be bold enough to ask him what he has done to the entire Ondo Southern senatorial Zone and Ilaje Oghomoni land as Acting Governor and as Governor to date as Time wait for no one.
If his charity doesn’t begin at home yet the home should not be Abandoned.

Baba Oluwadarsimi said”In this country Nigeria, we have a lot of political comedians or sycophants that will find it difficult to dicuss on issues that bother on good governance but there only ulterior motives are personal and selfish aggrandizement. Yeah, no one is against Gov. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa if he wishes to concentrate more developmental projects in his local government but for an individual to come online to say this really show the kind of individual the person is. My sincere advice to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa who has the mandate of the good people of Ondo State is not to listen to all the political comedians or sycophants, he should rule understand with clear conscience which lies on human capital development and infrastructural development for all and sundry in this State. This is because he will only be remembered for his good imprint in the State. He should not listen to these ” AWADA KERIKERI ACCIDENTAL SYCOPHANTS ” that are looking for all means to cause rancor between him and his Commissioner of Finance who he appointed with clear conscience.
